Calcium Silicate Board Production Process
Raw Materials Preparation:
Calcium silicate boards are made from a mixture of silica, lime, and reinforcing fibers (such as cellulose or asbestos-free fibers).
The raw materials are carefully measured and mixed to form a slurry.
Forming Process:
The slurry is poured onto a conveyor belt or mold.
The mixture is compressed and shaped into flat boards of the desired thickness.
Autoclaving (Curing):
The formed boards are placed in an autoclave (high-pressure steam chamber) for curing.
During autoclaving, the chemical reactions occur, resulting in the hardening of the boards.
Cutting and Finishing:
Once cured, the boards are cut into standard sizes.
Surface finishes (such as sanding or coating) are applied to enhance durability and appearance.
