The Gypsum Board Manufacturing Process
Raw Materials Processing:
Gypsum powder, water, and other additives are precisely measured and mixed in a mixer.
The resulting slurry is then conveyed to subsequent processing stages.
Forming and Shaping:
The slurry is poured between continuous layers of recycled paper on a long board machine.
The mixture is vibrated and extruded to form a continuous board.
Wet Board Formation:
The formed board is initially set on a coagulation belt and cut by a servo motor.
Drying:
The board is dried using hot air in different temperature zones.
Starch is used to bond the gypsum board during the drying process.
Edge Wrapping and Pelletizing:
