Production Process:
Raw Material Preparation: Crushed natural gypsum or synthetic gypsum is heated (calcined) to remove water content.
Slurry Formation: The calcined gypsum is mixed with water and additives to create a slurry.
Layering: The slurry is sandwiched between continuous layers of recycled paper on a long board machine.
Drying and Trimming: The formed gypsum board passes through drying systems and is trimmed to the desired dimensions.
Materials and Components:
Gypsum Powder: The primary raw material.
Fiber: Often added for strength and flexibility.
Foaming Agent: Enhances the board’s properties.
Starch: A binding agent.
Water: Essential for slurry formation.
Recycled Paper: Used as the outer layers.
Characteristics of Gypsum Boards:
Lightweight: Gypsum boards are relatively light.
Fire-Resistant: They offer good fire protection.
Heat Insulation: Provides thermal insulation.
Easy to Produce: The manufacturing process is straightforward.
Decorative Effect: Gypsum boards enhance interior aesthetics.
